At EIPC we continue to consolidate our position as a benchmark in the manufacturing of complex aerospace components in aluminum, steels, and superalloys using investment casting (lost wax). Our commitment to excellence and innovation drives us to carry out intensive R&D work to support our customers\u2019 programs, which include Tier-1 manufacturers of the aerospace sector. <\/p>\n

Strategic investments for growth<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the aim of preparing for the significant increase in activity expected, we have designed an ambitious plan of productive investments. This growth will be driven mainly by the expected rise in sales of the Airbus A-320 family \u2014 a program in which we maintain an important presence with numerous part references \u2014 as well as by securing new components for other projects under development. <\/p>\n

Among our most recent investments is the commissioning of a new five-axis CNC machining center that will double our capacity in this type of process. This equipment will be used both for machining cast parts and for manufacturing tooling, significantly strengthening our production capabilities. <\/p>\n

\"NewWe are also in the final phase of defining the acquisition of new equipment for mold sintering, which will incorporate advanced technology to optimize the process. At the same time, we plan to make comprehensive improvements to our facilities in Eibar during the current year. <\/p>\n

Strong commitment to R&D: 9 % of revenue<\/strong><\/p>\n

Innovation is part of EIPC\u2019s DNA. During the last financial year, we allocated 9 % of our revenue to Research and Development, an investment that allows us to undertake projects aimed at preparing us for future orders of components with ever more demanding requirements: larger parts, more complex geometries, and higher mechanical properties. <\/p>\n

Digital transformation and advanced tools<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the area of digitalization, we are developing an advanced internal planning tool that will allow us to forecast working hours across all plant operations with real-time updates. This solution will enable optimal resource planning based on actual work to be performed. <\/p>\n

Additionally, we are working on developing tools capable of correlating our aerospace component manufacturing processes with final product quality and, as a next step, predicting potential non-conformity risks based on certain manufacturing conditions.<\/p>\n

Automation tailored to our process<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite the artisanal nature of our production process and the absence of large series, automation is the third fundamental pillar of our current R&D projects. Our objective is to develop solutions that support and enhance our operators\u2019 work. <\/p>\n

This year, we will implement significant improvements in this area at Acabados Aeron\u00e1uticos de Bizkaia (ABB), our subsidiary specialized in finishing processes, which serves both our Eibar production and other customers in the sector.<\/p>\n

International diversification<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our subsidiary in Jiangyin (China<\/a>) continues to manufacture cast components for European customers, traditionally in the automotive sector. In recent years, we have embarked on a diversification process that is allowing us to gain presence in sectors such as furniture for construction, pumps and valves, rail, naval, and general machinery \u2014 a strategy we will reinforce during 2026\u20132027 <\/p>\n

Collaboration with the Basque innovation ecosystem<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have recently formalized a collaboration agreement with the Azterlan technology center to develop joint R&D<\/a> projects. This alliance adds to our notable participation in the Hazitek program of the Basque Government, where we are present in eight initiatives in the current call, including two strategic projects: <\/p>\n
